Talboom Deputy City Clerk <br /> Absent: <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney <br /> John Voorde City Clerk <br /> REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br /> To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: The sub-committee has inspected the <br /> minutes of the November 22, 2004 meetings of the Council and found them to be correct. <br /> Therefore, we recommend the same be approved. <br /> Members of the Sub-Committee on Minutes <br /> s/Karen L. White <br /> s/David Varner <br /> Councilmember Coleman made a motion that the minutes of the November 22, 2004, <br /> meeting of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Kelly seconded <br /> the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3403-04 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> PUBLICLY SUPPORTING THE FUNDING FOR <br /> THE RENOVATION OF THE ASSOCIATES <br /> FOR INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTH BEND <br /> Whereas, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, recognizes <br /> that Indiana University South Bend is the only public, comprehensive, master's and <br /> bachelor's degree granting institution of high education in northern Indiana; and <br /> Whereas, the Common Council notes that IU South Bend currently has enrolled <br /> 7,501 students and is continuing to experience enrollment growth which is projected to <br /> continue; and <br /> 1 <br />
