REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 25, 2004 <br /> BILL NO. 69-04 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL OF THE COMMON <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND OR CONTROLLER <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO MAKE <br /> TEMPORARY LOANS TO PAY OFF PREVIOUSLY <br /> ISSUED TEMPORARY LOAN TAX ANTICIPATION <br /> WARRANTS; AND TO ISSUE NEW TEMPORARY <br /> LOAN TAX ANTICIPATION TIME WARRANTS TO <br /> EVIDENCE SUCH LOANS AND APPROPRIATING <br /> AND PLEDGING TAXES TO BE RECEIVED IN SUCH <br /> FUNDS TO THE PAYMENT OF THE NEW <br /> WARRANTS INCLUDING THE INTEREST THEREON <br /> Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to continue this bill until the November 8, 2004 <br /> meeting of the Council, at the request of the petitioner. Councilmember Varner seconded <br /> the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> RISE AND REPORT <br /> Councilmember Kuspa made a motion to rise and report to the full Council. <br /> Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) <br /> ayes. <br /> ATTEST: ATTEST: <br /> ez-64,L—Ceig <br /> Jo oorde, City Clerk Sean Coleman, Chairperson <br /> Committee of the Whole <br /> REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED <br /> Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend reconvened in the <br /> Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the County-City Building at 7:12 p.m. President <br /> Karen White presided with nine (9) members present. <br /> BILLS - THIRD READING <br /> No bills for third reading at this time. <br /> RESOLUTIONS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3396-04 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> APPROVING A PETITION OF THE SOUTH <br /> BEND BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS FOR <br /> THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1601 WEST <br /> SAMPLE STREET <br /> WHEREAS, Indiana Code Section 36-7-4-918.6, requires the Common Council <br /> to give notice pursuant to Indiana Code Section 5-14-1.5-5, of it's intention to consider <br /> Petitions from the Board of Zoning Appeals for approval or disapproval; and --a <br /> WHEREAS, the Common council must take action within thirty (30) days after <br /> the board of Zoning Appeals makes it's recommendation to the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council is required to make a determination in writing <br /> on such requests pursuant to Indiana Code Section 36-7-4-918.4; and <br /> 3 <br />
