Art Beat is a day -long showcase of visual, performing, and culinary arts on the city streets of downtown South Bend. The timeline appears below. We would like to once again have a road closure on Friday 8/9 after work (6 pm) until Sunday 8/11 afternoon (3 pm) to allow for more setup and teardown time for this huge event. It has grown so much in recent years that setting it up the morning of the event and tearing it down the same evening is no longer possible. The extra time we had last year made a huge difference.
