The City seeks to enhance its ability to identify responsive and responsible bidders on all City public works projects by institution of comprehensive submission requirements in compliance with State law. Quality workmanship, efficient operation, safety, and timely completion of projects requires that all bidders meet certain minimum requirements to be responsive and responsible bidders. Failure by any pre -qualified contractor to submit its complete application for continuation of "pre -qualified" standing within the time prescribed above shall result in automatic removal of the designation, effective January 1 of the following year, or immediately following the twelve (12) months ofpre-qualified standing. However' the "removed" contractor orsubcontractor shall still be permitted to bid on City public works projects, though the contractor must submit all required documents under0'03 until "pre -qualified" status is re-established. Please Note: The City reserves the right to request supplemental information from the biddmr, additional verification of any information provided by the b|dder, and may also conduct random inquiries ofthe bidder's current and previous customers regardless ofpre-qualified standing.
