controlled substances, if the employee has been referred at Alpine Demolition request for
treatment or counseling on a previous occasion.
Assistance in Overcoming Illegal Drug Use or Controlled Substance Abuse
A. Early recognition and treatment of illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse is important
for successful rehabilitation, return to productive work, and reduced personal, family, and
social disruption. Alpine Demolition encourages the earliest possible diagnosis and treatment
for illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse.
B. Alpine Demolition supports sound treatment efforts. Alpine Demolition will not, however,
assist employees in overcoming illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse. The decision
to seek diagnosis and accept treatment for illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse is
the individual employee's responsibility.
C. Before an employee can be reinstated to his/her job, they must first complete a substance
abuse program, receive a verified "negative" substance test and must reapply for a position
with Alpine Demolition
Confidentiality
A. All information involving medical examinations, drug or alcohol test results or treatment
procedures will be treated as confidential information and will be accessible only to those
company officials and designated medical and professional persons with a specific need to
know.
B. Drug/Alcohol test results or treatment procedure information will not be provided to any
other party without the written consent of the employee, except as required by state or
federal laws.
