controlled substances, if the employee has been referred at Alpine Demolition request for <br />treatment or counseling on a previous occasion. <br />Assistance in Overcoming Illegal Drug Use or Controlled Substance Abuse <br />A. Early recognition and treatment of illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse is important <br />for successful rehabilitation, return to productive work, and reduced personal, family, and <br />social disruption. Alpine Demolition encourages the earliest possible diagnosis and treatment <br />for illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse. <br />B. Alpine Demolition supports sound treatment efforts. Alpine Demolition will not, however, <br />assist employees in overcoming illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse. The decision <br />to seek diagnosis and accept treatment for illegal drug use or controlled substance abuse is <br />the individual employee's responsibility. <br />C. Before an employee can be reinstated to his/her job, they must first complete a substance <br />abuse program, receive a verified "negative" substance test and must reapply for a position <br />with Alpine Demolition <br />Confidentiality <br />A. All information involving medical examinations, drug or alcohol test results or treatment <br />procedures will be treated as confidential information and will be accessible only to those <br />company officials and designated medical and professional persons with a specific need to <br />know. <br />B. Drug/Alcohol test results or treatment procedure information will not be provided to any <br />other party without the written consent of the employee, except as required by state or <br />federal laws. <br />
