NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />b. continued... <br />for the Authority and is identical to the Commission's <br />policy. It includes the statement the the Authority will <br />follow the Uniform Relocation Act and that the policy is <br />a supplement to the Uniform Relocation Act. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Gammage and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the <br />Relocation Policy. <br />c. Authority approval requested for Policy of Management of <br />Acquired Property. <br /> <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Commission has had a Property <br />Management Policy for the management of its property in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. Last week the <br />Commission revised its policy to include all <br />redevelopment and economic development areas. This <br />policy is identical to the Commission's policy. It <br />provides for tenants to begin paying rent to the <br />Authority the next month after the property is acquired <br />from the landlord. Owner-occupants are allowed 60 days <br />rent free. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Fewell and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Policy of <br />Management of Acquired Property. <br />4.
