NEW BUSINESS.(Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Redevelopment Authority to act as the Secretary-Treasurer <br />during-such time such position is vacant, and ratifying <br />all prior actions of the Vice President acting as <br />Secretary-Treasurer. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Resolution No. 31 corrects a <br />Situation that has been occurring since the resignation <br />of George McCullough. Mr. Fewell has signed a number of <br />documents as Secretary-Treasurer during the time that <br />position was vacant. Resolution No. 3T ratifies the fact <br />-that. he was Acting Secretary-Treasurer during that time <br />.and allows him to continue in that position until .the <br />Mayor appoints another member to the Authority and <br />elections are held. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that-.the Mayor recently appointed a <br />new member and elections will be held following this <br />agenda item. <br />Upon 'a `motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Gammage and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved Resolution <br />No. 31 authorizing the Vice President of the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority to act as the Secretary-Treasurer <br />during such time such position is vacant, and ratifying <br />all prior actions of the Vice President acting as <br />Secretary-Treasurer. <br />4. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />Ms. Manier, Chief Deputy City Attorney, conducted the Election <br />of Officers. <br />PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Fewell nominated Joseph Wroblewski to serve as President <br />of the Redevelopment Authority.. Mr. Gammage seconded the <br />nomination. :There were no additional nominations. The vote <br />being. unanimous, Mr. Wroblewski was elected President for <br />1991. <br />VICE-PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Wroblewski nominated Andre Gammage to serve as <br />Vice-President of the Redevelopment Authority. Mr. Fewell <br />seconded the nomination. There were no additional <br />~.~ nominations. The vote being unanimous, Mr. Gammage was <br />elected Vice-President for 1991. <br />-2- <br />
