Be POLICY ADMINISTRATION <br />Prohibited Substances <br />A drug is any substance which may impair mental or motor functioning including <br />but not limited to illegal drugs, controlled substances, "designer" drugs, synthetic <br />drugs, and, under certain circumstances described in this policy, prescription or <br />nonprescription drugs and medications. Alcohol includes all beverages, mixtures, <br />substances, medications, inhalants, or preparations which contain alcohol. Drugs <br />and alcohol as defined above are prohibited substances. <br />Although this policy prohibits the use of any illegal drug, at a minimum testing <br />will be done for the following substances: <br />Marijuana <br />Cocaine <br />Opiates — including: Morphine, Codeine, Heroin, Hydrocodone, <br />Hydromorphone, Oxycodone and Oxymorphone <br />Amphetamines/Methamphetam ines/Ecstasy <br />Phencyclidine (PCP) <br />Barbiturates <br />Benzodiazepine <br />Methadone <br />Propoxyphene <br />Depending upon the circumstances, testing may also be done for alcohol. <br />Participants involved in an accident/incident, or who demonstrate a reasonable <br />cause for testing, shall be required to take an alcohol and drug test. <br />Tests for alcohol shall be performed using breath, <br />2. All urine collections for drug testing purposes shall be conducted in <br />accordance with standard procedures that are patterned but are not exactly <br />the same as those found in "49 CFR Part 40 Procedures for Transportation <br />Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs." A separate urine <br />collection procedure document has been developed for this program. <br />b. All urine and blood testing shall be performed only by a laboratory <br />certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. <br />c. All drug and alcohol testing shall be conducted in accordance with the <br />U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' "49 CFR Part 40 <br />Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing <br />Programs." <br />d. Any result on a screening test which exceeds the levels set forth below <br />-2 <br />
