INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Theresa Heffner, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Gemma Stanton, Project Engineer, Division of Engineering <br />SUBJECT: Award Memo #122-007B SRTS Our Lady of Hungary Tree Removal <br />DATE: February 13th, 2024 <br />On February 13th, 2024, the Board of Public Works opened and read quotes for the above project. <br />Engineering recommends award of the quote at the same Board of Public Works meeting, February <br />13th, 2024. <br />The quoters ranked as follows: <br />Bidder Total Quote Amount <br />1.K&R Tree Service LLC $28,809 <br />2.KC Tree, Inc $34,500 <br />Engineering did not find any calculation errors in the submitted quotes. <br />Engineering recommends award of the quote to the lowest responsive and responsible quoter, <br />K&R Tree Service LLC, in the amount of $28,809. Engineering recommends rejecting all other <br />bids. <br />The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds from the TIF-River West Fund <br />(324-10-102-121-442001—PROJ00000339) (Requisition #PR-00030699).
