Remove Back Porch Handrail: <br /> The back porch was re-constructed sometime in the past ten years, and has contemporary <br />synthetic wood handrails which are not historically appropriate or accurate and have begun to sag. This <br />section applies to remove these handrails in their entirety and not replace them. The porch floor is less <br />than thirty inches above grade which negates a building code conflict. Additionally, I propose adding a <br />new handrail to the south side of the porch where to provide a barrier to an existing bilco door adjacent. <br />This new handrail will be made of simple profile salvaged wood materials to match the character of the <br />house. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
