REGULAR MEETING <br />January 8, 2024 <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />There is no unfinished business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilmember Dr. Oliver Davis reminded the committee that they had an orientation this <br />previous Friday and were told the new members were to get a contact list of Department heads. <br />Vice -President Niezgodski will follow up. <br />Councilmember Dr. Oliver Davis asked to be given the exact number -of Minority and Women <br />Businesses. Over the last few years different numbers have been reported and wants clarity. <br />Vice -President Niezgodski thanked Councilmember Dr. Davis will follow up stating that a <br />committee report will be beneficial for everyone. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Donnie Foster, 132 Chapin Street, South Bend IN 46601, thanked the Council for their hard work. <br />Expressed that the City needs to get people to be more involved. Came before the Council to invite <br />the Council to the Kroc Center from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to talk about the options of ways in which <br />the public becomes more active in local politics. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Council Vice -President Sheila Niezgodski adjourned the meeting at 8:02 p.m. <br />10 <br />
