ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $45,000 WITHIN THE CITY <br />CEMETERY TRUST FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />BUREAU OF CEMETERIES OF THE PARK DEPARTMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are <br />required for the Bureau of Cemeteries of the Park Department for <br />replacement of a storage building, which is required for the secure <br />and efficient operation of the cemeteries. Funds are available in <br />the City Cemetery Trust Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SOUTH BEND COMMON <br />COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $45,000 is hereby appropriated <br />within the City Cemetery Trust Fund, as follows: <br />Account Category Amount <br />0417 Other Structures $45,000.00 <br />Total $45,000.00 <br />SECTION II. This appropriation is required for the proper <br />and efficient operation and function of the Department of Public <br />Parks of South Bend and an extraordinary emergency is declared to <br />exist concerning the foregoing appropriation. <br />SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by <br />the Mayor, and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners. <br />M m r of -the C o rf Council <br />
