STAFF REPORT <br />COUNCILMAN INITIATED (ROBERT <br />TAYLOR) #923 -84 January 2, 1985 <br />South side of Ireland Road, <br />between Fellows and <br />High Streets, South Bend <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />This petition requests a zone change from "A" <br />Residential, "A" Height and Area to „ B „ <br />Residential, "A” Height and Area which would <br />allow the establishment of uses permitted in the <br />"B" Residential district. <br />EXISTING LAND USE: <br />The area contains a number of single- family <br />homes. <br />SURROUNDING LAND USE AND ZONING: Located to the north across Ireland Road is <br />the Erskine Golf Course zoned "A" <br />Residential, to the east is an optometrist's <br />office and the Fitness U.S.A. building zoned <br />"B" Residential and "C" Commercial <br />respectively, to the scuth is a church zoned <br />"A" Residential, and to the vest is a church <br />and a single- family hone zoned "A" <br />Residential. <br />SITE PLAN: <br />A site plan is not required for rezoning <br />petitions initiated by a City Councilman. <br />
