South Bend Common Council <br />June 4, 1985 <br />Page Two <br />You will note that the bill proposes the use of a substantial amount of 1984 <br />Unspecified Local Option money available through an increase in the Community <br />Development money for 1985 and increased program income which is attributable <br />to the sale of Redevelopment property and leased property. Previous planning <br />had been to use this money in 1986 in order to ease the reduced funding for <br />next year anticipated at 10 to 25 %. By appropriating this money to projects <br />now there will be far less money and flexibility available in 1986.
