Corner of Locust Road and State Rd. 23 in St. Joseph County, IN ORDINANCE NO. % L/`7O -9,<— AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (CHAPTER 21, MUNICIPAL CODE). BE IT ORDIANED by the Common Council fo the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: That part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana which is described as: Beginning at a point on the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said section and centerline of Locust Road which is 1897.50 feet North of the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section; thence North 89054120" East, 152.63 feet; thence North 00000147" West, 487.15 feet to the centerline of Prairie Avenue; thence South 60016'19" West along said centerline, 175.75 feet to the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section; thence South 400 feet to the point of beginning. be and the same is hereby established as C- Commercial, F- Height and area. Section 2. The establishment proposed on the rezoned parcel shall not open until either a traffic light is installed at the corner of S.R. 23 and Locust Road, or by October 31, 1985 which ever first shall occur.
