STAFF REPORT <br /> JOSEPH SERGE, HISTORIC PRESERVATION #938-85 May 9, 1985 <br /> Riverside Drive <br /> City of South Bend <br /> REQUESTED ACTION: This petition was initiated by Councilman Joseph <br /> Serge to establish an Historic Preservation <br /> Overlay District for Riverside Drive in South <br /> Bend. The proposed district is bounded by the St. <br /> Joseph River on the north, Leeper Park on the <br /> east, and generally, on the south and west, by the <br /> rear property lines of the homes that front on <br /> Riverside Drive. <br /> EXLSTLNG LAND USE: The petition area contains single-family homes. <br /> SURROUNDING LAND USE AND ZONING: Located to the north is the St. Joseph River, to <br /> the east is Leeper Park zoned "A" Residential ; to <br /> the south and west are single-family homes zoned <br /> "A" Residential . <br />
