Ordinance No. -]I 4]-i <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990-68, AS <br /> AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, (Chapter 21, <br /> Municipal Code), (Riverside Drive, South Bend, St. <br /> Joseph County, Indiana). <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSES AND INTENT <br /> TO ESTABLISH an Historic Preservation District, to be known as <br /> the Riverside Drive Historic Preservation District, with such uses as <br /> permitted in Section 21-36.1 of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br /> Bend, such District having been recommended by the Historic Preservation <br /> Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County, for the purpose of <br /> preserving the architectural, historical, and cultural significance and <br /> educational value of the described area. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is <br /> commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br /> be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification <br /> of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. <br /> Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br /> A parcel of land being a part of Sec. 1 and 2, <br /> T.38N. , R.2E. , Portage Township, City of South <br /> Bend, being more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the West right-of- <br /> way line of Riverside Drive and the South right-of- <br /> way line of Angela Boulevard, thence South along <br /> said West right-of-way line to the North right-of- <br /> way line of the first East/West alley North of <br /> Portage Park Recorded Subdivision, thence West <br /> ..7 ,..2.1 LT....�L <br /> -11-- 94..., a.. .. .......a <br />
