• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 v,5 - is <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $400 , 000 . 00 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8502 1985 RESURFACING PROJECT, WITHIN <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to <br /> provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain street <br /> improvements are necessary. These improvements include resurfacing <br /> and other street repairs on various streets within the City of <br /> South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the costs of these improvements . <br /> These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> Section I : The following sum of money is hereby appropriated <br /> ' and ordered set apart out of the Local Road and Street Fund <br /> for the project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
