ORDINANCE NO . 7s v.5-- --i <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $35 ,000. 00 FROM THE LOCAL <br /> ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R&S 8501, JEFFERSON <br /> STREET & EDDY STREET REALIGNMENT. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to <br /> provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain improve- <br /> ments are necessary for some streets within the City of South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of these improvements . <br /> These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> Section I . The following sum of money is hereby ordered set <br /> apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the <br /> amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO .
