ORDINANCE NO. 73- <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $81,000 . 00 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8506, SR 23 &OLIVE STREET WIDENING <br /> AND SIGNALIZATION <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands , and <br /> to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain <br /> improvements are necessary for some streets within the City of <br /> South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of these improvements . <br /> These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> Section I : The following sum of money is hereby ordered set <br /> apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the <br /> amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
