STAFF REPORT <br /> COMMON COUNCIL INITIATED (BEYERLIE BECK) #934-85 April 4, 1985 <br /> 1104 E. Jefferson Boulevard <br /> 1105 E. Wayne Street <br /> 220 S. Eddy Street <br /> REQUESTED ACIION: This proposed ordinance requests that the property <br /> described in the petition be rezoned from "B" <br /> Residential , "A" Height and Area to "A" <br /> Residential , "A" Height and Area. <br /> EXISTING LAND USE: There are three properties, one is vacant, and the <br /> other two have single-family homes. <br /> SURROUNDING LAND USE AND ZONING: Located to the north across Jefferson Boulevard is <br /> the First Christian Church zoned "A" Residential ; <br /> to the east is a vacant lot and two single-family <br /> homes zoned "A" Residential ; to the south across <br /> E. Wayne Street is a single-family home zoned "B" <br /> Residential , and to the west across Eddy Street is <br /> a day care center, and a dental office zoned "B" <br /> Residential , and the Van Mele & Associates office <br /> building zoned "C-1 " Commercial . <br /> SITE PLAN: A site plan is not required for rezoning petitions <br /> initiated by the Common Council . <br /> April 15, 1985 <br /> EXISTING LAND USE: The Staff has received information that one of the <br /> two single-family homes in the petition area has <br /> been converted to a duplex. <br /> AGENCY COMMENTS: The City Engineer has no objections. <br />
