All rights reserved. C. Final site walkthrough and punch list will be created at the Owner’s direction. This may be performed at substantial completion or as a one-year warranty review but will include photographed documentation of any concerns or final needs to be corrected by the contractor. D. LA will be available during construction to review and reply to RFIs, and/or product submittals. A1.04 Mechanical/Plumbing and Electrical Engineer will engage Advanced Engineering Consultants (AEC) as the MEP design engineer based upon the attached proposal. A1.05 Low Voltage Engineer will engage Korda/Nemeth Engineering, Inc. as the Low Voltage design engineer based upon the attached proposal. A1.06 Cost Estimating Engineer will engage Blundall Associates, Inc. to provide Opinions of Probable Cost at the conclusion of Schematic Design and the conclusion of Design Development based on the attached proposal. PART 2 – PROJECT SCHEDULE A detailed project schedule will be developed based on the Owner’s review process along with the timing of SBCSC’s relocation to another facility. Since this project will have multiple phases and submittals, the overall schedule may be impacted by the response time of the city and state agencies. Initial understanding is that SBCSC plans to move out by June 2024, so ideally CDs would be ready to bid and award by that time. That would allow renovation work to commence mid-year 2024 with that scope of work to be determined, but the City would envision being able to move into the facility in the summer of 2025. PART 3 – ADDITIONAL SERVICES A3.01 Additional Services Requiring Owner’s Written Authorization A. If authorized in writing by Owner, Engineer shall furnish or obtain from others Additional Services of the types listed below. 1. Services resulting from participation in a peer review process, other than the requirements requested by the owner. 2. Services resulting from changes of scope or magnitude of the project as described above and/or services resulting from changes made after the drawings are substantially complete. 3. Services resulting from corrections or revisions required because of errors or omissions in construction by the contractor or from change orders resulting from requests by the owner.
