Amending Chapter 21 Floodplain Regulations

SECTION III That Article 8, Subdivisions, of Chapter 21 , Zoning, of the City of South Bend Municipal Code, be amended by adding the following Sub-Section to Section 21-144(a): Sec. 21-144(a)(15) Elevation of the 100-year flood, when applicable. SECTION IV That Article 8, Subdivisions, of Chapter 21 , Zoning, of the City of South Bend Municipal Code, be amended by deleting in its entirety the following Sub- Section of Section 21-145(a): Sec. 21-145(a)(1) SECTION V That Article 8, Subdivisions, of Chapter 21 , Zoning, of the City of South Bend Municipal Code, be amended by adding the following Sub-Section to Section 21-145(a): Sec. 21-145(a)(1) If the Subdivision falls within a designated flood hazard area, the Subdivision shall be reviewed by the Department of Natural Resources in accordance with Section 21-142(a) of this Article. SECTION VI That Article 8, Subdivisions, of Chapter 21 , Zoning, of the City of South Bend Municipal Code, be amended by deleting in its entirety the following Sub- Section of Section 21-149(a): Sec. 21-149(a)(1) SECTION VII That Article 8, Subdivisions, of Chapter 21 , Zoning, of the City of South Bend Municipal Code, be amended by adding the following Sub-Section to Section 21-149(a): Sec. 21-149(a)(1) If the Subdivision falls within a designated flood hazard area, the Subdivision shall be reviewed by the Department of Natural Resources in accordance with Section 21-142(a) of this Article.
