His responsibilities at Abonmarche include construction inspections, <br />progress meetings, pay estimates, schedule oversight, record keeping, <br />stakeholder communication, construction staking, utility as-builts, and <br />construction administration. <br />AREAS OF EXPERTISE: <br />CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION <br />Southwood Sewer Separation - South Bend, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $2.500,000 project <br />that included new storm sewer and drainage improvements, utility coordination, <br />and new roadway, curb and sidewalks. <br />Mishawaka Traffic Safety Plan & West Vestibule - Mishawaka, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $3.2 million project <br />over seeing all aspects of the construction. This project included the construction <br />of multiple new parking lots, drop off area, new grand entrance into the school. <br />Ensuring ADA accessibility and safe traffic routes for all school traffic. <br />Bremen Highway Added-Travel Lanes Project - Mishawaka, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $3.5 million project <br />over seeing all aspects of the construction and overseeing other inspectors. <br />Mishawaka Sidewalk Replacement Project - Mishawaka, IN <br />JD was the Construction Technician for this $360,000 CDBG funded project that <br />replaced 2,600 lft of sidewalks in an aging neighborhood in Mishawaka. The <br />project also included removal and replacement of twenty (20) sidewalk ramps to <br />comply with ADA standards and included removing trees that were determined <br />to cause sidewalk upheaval. JD worked with engineering staff to determine the <br />limits of construction and worked to save existing residential retaining walls in <br />order to minimize the project costs while maximizing the amount of sidewalk that <br />was replaced. JD also observed construction operations, measured and tracked <br />project quantities, reviewed, and processed pay estimates, processed change <br />orders, led progress meetings, and prepared final construction records. <br />Wild Cherry Ridge Roadway Improvements - Mishawaka, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $600,000 project. <br />La Porte Sidewalk Project - La Porte, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $420,000 sidewalk <br />project over seeing all aspects of the construction. The project included <br />replacement of over 20 sidewalk ramps and over 6,500’ of sidewalk. <br />Fir and Brick Roundabout - Granger, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $880,000 project <br />over seeing all aspects of the construction and overseeing other inspectors. This <br />project included the construction of a roundabout at the busy intersection of Fir <br />Road and Brick Road in northern St. Joseph County to alleviate traffic back ups <br />from the previous 4 way stop intersection. <br />CR 17 Improvements - Elkhart County, IN <br />JD performed the role of primary construction inspector for this $800,000 <br />project that included new roadway construction, earthwork, and associated <br />improvements. <br />5
