ORDINANCE NO. 7S J to-$s' <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4, 100.00 FROM THE <br /> MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR <br /> REPAIR OF THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM ROOF AND FOR <br /> PAINT FOR THE DRESSING ROOMS AND PUBLIC RESTROOMS <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of <br /> Managers . <br /> The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that it <br /> is necessary for the maintenance of the Morris Civic Auditorium that <br /> roof repairs be undertaken prior to the onset of winter weather. The <br /> Board of Managers has further determined that it is necessary to <br /> maintain the aesthetic appearance of the dressing rooms and public <br /> restrooms. An estimated cost of the repair of the roof and purchase of <br /> paints and materials, anticipating the use of volunteer labor for the <br /> application of the paint, to be $4, 100.00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. The amount of $4, 100.00 is hereby appropriated <br /> and ordered set apart out of the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement <br /> Fund for repair of the roof of the Morris Civic Auditorium and for the <br /> purchase of paint and materials for application to the walls of the <br /> dressing rooms and public restrooms at the Morris Civic Auditorium. <br /> SECTION II.
