Gammon <br /> City of South Bend City Clerk <br /> County-City Building <br /> South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br /> Re: $800,000 City of South Bend Economic <br /> Development Revenue Bond (Container <br /> Service Corporation Project) <br /> Dear Mrs. Gammon: <br /> This letter describes the project related to the Ordi- <br /> nance which was filed with your office on November 22, 1985. <br /> This project is related to the Harrison Management Company <br /> project. <br /> Container Service Corporation is relocating its corru- <br /> gated container manufacturing operation from Dowagiac, Michigan <br /> to Block 5 of the Airport Industrial Park in South Bend, <br /> Indiana. The proposed bond issue will finance the purchase by <br /> Container Service Corporation of the equipment for this <br /> facility. The real estate and building construction would be <br /> financed through the City of South Bend Economic Development <br /> Revenue Bond (Harrison Management Company, an Indiana <br /> Partnership Project) . <br /> It is expected that these projects will result in the <br /> creation of approximately 40 new jobs in South Bend with an <br /> annual payroll of approximately $1,000, 000. St. Joseph Bank <br /> and Trust Company has issued its commitment letter to purchase <br /> the bonds to finance this project and the Harrison Management <br /> Company project. <br /> We respectfully request the Council 's favorable con- <br /> sideration of these projects with passage of the Ordinances on <br /> December 2.
