ORDINANCE NO. '75,5 7-& <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $133,301 <br /> FROM THE CENTURY CENTER OPERATING FUND FOR <br /> REMODELING, REPAIRS AND RENNOVATION OF CENTURY <br /> CENTER. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana received the sum of <br /> $150 , 000 from Service America at the time of the catering contract <br /> award for the purpose of remodeling the Service America Offices at <br /> Century Center, repair of the chiller air conditioning system at <br /> Century Center, updating and repair of the kitchen facilities, and <br /> remodeling of river level suites 1 through 3 and the green room; and <br /> WHEREAS, construction and remodeling of the aforementioned <br /> items is necessary in 1985. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $133, 301 is hereby appropriated <br /> for the year 1985 from the Century Center Board of Managers Operating <br /> Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana as described below: <br /> 4234 . 0 Building Materials $ 830 <br /> 4360 . 0 Bldgs. & Structure Repair 41, 294 <br /> 4363 . 0 Equipment Repair 14, 120 <br /> 4399 . 0 Other Contractuals 74 ,556 <br /> 4429 . 0 Other Equipment 2,501 <br /> $133, 301 <br /> SECTION II .
