• <br /> SUBSTITUTE <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $47, 000 <br /> OUT OF THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CAPITAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF FIRE <br /> STATION #7 LOCATED AT 1616 PORTAGE AVENUE. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana has determined that <br /> the reconstruction of Fire Station #7, located at 1616 Portage Avenue <br /> is necessary to accomodate the height of the new Quint aerial truck; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the replacement of deteriorated windows with modern <br /> insulated types is also deemed necessary. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $47, 000 is hereby appropriated <br /> for the year 1985 from the Emergency Medical Services Capital <br /> Improvement Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana as described <br /> below: <br /> 416 . 0 Bldgs. , Structure, Improvement $47, 000 . 00 <br /> SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br /> effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approved <br /> by the Mayor. <br /> Member of the Common Council <br />
