Walls are of yellow brick laid in a common bond. The roof is covered in slate shingles with a shed dormer on <br />the east face. A concrete stoop and steps with metal railing allows access to the north entrance. Mix of replace- <br />ment units and mid-20th century commercial windows. A parking lot for the office is on the south side. <br />ALTERATIONS: COA 2018-1102 allowed for the installation of existing three-light windows with Andersen <br />Aluminum-clad (two over two) divided lite windows. Structure was heavily modified and converted to commercial <br />use in 1957. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: “Installation of blade sign.” <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The applicant has requested approval to: <br />• Install a 24” wide x 40” high blade sign made of Aluminum tubing and aluminum sign faces, with vinyl printed <br />graphics and paint, installed into the masonry with anchor bolts. <br />STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES: See Standards and Guidelines: <br />• Commercial Standards: Signs — pages 51-53 <br />SITE VISIT REPORT: N/A <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff makes a favorable recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br />Prepared by <br />Adam Toering, Historic Preservation Administrator <br />
