There are no new taxes being imposed or <br /> increases. This tax will expire June 20, 2024. <br /> Committee Chair opened the floor for Committee members to speak on this Bill. There was <br /> no one from the virtual audience expressing themselves to speak for or against Bill No. 23- <br /> 24. <br /> The floor was opened up to the Council for comments. <br /> Council member Hamann asked how this will impact on the sewage department. <br /> Eric Horvath, Executive Director of Public Works with offices located on the 13th floor <br /> responded that it doesn't increase taxes and anything that is generated has already been <br /> accounted for and will be going back to the State.
