Council <br /> County-City Building <br /> South Bend, IN 46601 <br /> Re : Ordinance Amending Chapter Two, Article 13 Of The South Bend <br /> Municipal Code By Adding An Addditional Economic Development <br /> Target Area Thereto , Commonly Known As The South Bend Central <br /> Development Area <br /> Dear Councilmen: <br /> On October 21, 1983 , the Economic Development Commission, by <br /> Resolution, requested the South Bend Common Council to pass an <br /> Ordinance establishing economic development target areas , which was <br /> accomplished by the passing of Ordinance No . 7267-83 on November 14, <br /> 1983 . <br /> On November 15 , 1985 , the Economic Development Commission Resolution <br /> requested the South Bend Common Council to pass an Ordinance amending <br /> Chapter Two, Article 13 of the Municipal Code by adding an additional <br /> economic development target area, which was accomplished by the <br /> passing of Ordinance No . 7577-85 on December 16 , 1985 . <br /> For purposes of increasing established economic development target <br /> areas for purpose of issuing economic development commission bonds <br /> for certain economic development facilities , the Economic Development <br /> Commission, on December 16 , 1985 , passed a Resolution expanding the <br /> existing target area.
