WHEREAS, the State has ar will issue an Order of Commissioner <br />substantially identical to this Resolution to effectuate the transfer <br />of the Real Estate from .the State to the Redevelopment Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND g,EDEVELOFMENT <br />AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />s, That in consideration of the conveyance by the State of Indiana <br />of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County: <br />A part of the West Half of the Southeast quarter of Section 19, <br />Township. 38 North, Range ~ East, St. Joseph Ccunty, Indiana,. <br />described as follows: Beginning on the west line of said <br />quarter section North fl degrees 57 minutes 33 seconds West <br />1,176,34 feet from the southwest corner of said quarter <br />section; thence North 0 degrees 57 minutes 33 seconds West <br />1,45.5..42 feet along .said west line. to the northwest corner of <br />said quartex section; thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes 3fl <br />seconds East 647.48 feet along the.. north line of said. quarter <br />section to the-west boundary of U,S. 31 Bypass.; thence South ~ <br />degrees 38 minutes 37 seconds East 904.90 feet (903.33 feet by <br />Cause No. F-2917 of the St. Jcseph County Circuit Court) along <br />the boundary of said U.S. 31 Bypass; thence. South 0 degrees 17 <br />minutes flfl seconds East 279.50 feet along said boundary; thence <br />South 89 degrees 43 minutes OO seconds West 169.00 feet along <br />said boundary; thence North 89 degrees 50 minutes 29 seconds <br />West 193.31 feet along said boundary; thence youth 38 degrees <br />fl3 minutes 26 seconds West.. 349.13. feet along said boundary; <br />thence South 89 degrees 43 minutes Ofl seconds West 88,69 feet <br />to the point of beginning and containing 19.260 acres, more or <br />less, <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Authority hereby agrees to pay to the. <br />State the sum of Three Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Dollars <br />(~387,OOO,JO), ;~lhich sum the Authority hereby determines to be <br />reasonable. <br />2, That the purchase price of Three Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand <br />Dollars ($387,flfl0.fl0)'shall be paid by the Authority to the State as <br />follows: Two Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Dollars L$287,000.00) of <br />said sum shall be paid by the Authority to the State upen conveyance of <br />the Real Estate to the .Authority. Ra~-ment of the remaining One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($1flQ,Ofl0.Ofl) shall. be due and payable at a future <br />date upon such terms and conditions as are mutually agreed upon by the <br />Authority and State. <br />3. That the transfer of the Real Estate as described herein shall <br />be, and hereby is, approved and accepted.. <br />4.
