• VACATION PETITION DATE TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, being owners of contiguous property, hereby petition you to vacate the following property located in the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. The north-south right-of-way bounded by Jefferson Boulevard on the north and the right-of-way of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company on the south, being the same 33-foot right-of-way running along the entire eastern boundary of Fernwood Addition to the City of South Bend, as shown on the plat thereof, recorded July 12, 1945 , in Plat Book 15 , Page F, in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana. 2 . The east-west street known as Sunnymede Avenue bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of 35th Street and on the east by the west line of Lots 10 and 15 of Fernwood Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana. Vacation of the aforementioned property is requested so that the petitioner, Holy Cross Health System Corporation, may use part of the same for access and parking in connection with its offices at 3606 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46615 , and the expansion thereof, and that the other abutting property owners may enjoy the use of the remaining parts thereof. Attached to this petition is a list of names and addresses of all abutting property owners and addressed, stamped envelopes for all such abutting property owners .
