BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 /€, I - <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE <br /> SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED BUILDING <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Council finds it necessary to correct technical <br /> errors in Ordinance No. 7616-86 . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> SECTION I. Chapter 6, Article 2, Section 6-6 .5(d) (1) (e) <br /> shall be amended to read as follows : <br /> (e) The area of the subject property is not congested . <br /> Congestion shall be defined as a condition where the ratio of the <br /> total square footage of buildings and structures to the total <br /> square footage of vacant land on the subject parcel and all <br /> parcels abutting the subject property parcel is more than 1.15 :1 . <br /> SECTION II.
