ORDINANCE NO. -7 (o oZ(4, —7(fl <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL <br /> $30 ,000 . 00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET <br /> FUND TO PROJECT R&S 8506, SR 23 & OLIVE <br /> STREET WIDENING AND SIGNALIZATION <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and <br /> to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain <br /> improvements are necessary for some streets within the City of <br /> South Bend. <br /> Additional funds are now needed to purchase right-of-way and <br /> pay for the cost of these improvements. These funds are available <br /> from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br /> Section I : The following additional sum of money is hereby <br /> ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the <br /> project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> 8506 SR 23 & Olive Street $ 30 , 000 . 00 <br /> Widening and Signalization: <br /> Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and <br /> effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and <br /> approval by the Mayor and the State Board of Tax Commissioners. <br /> Member of the Co irn Council <br />
