Pfeifer public high schools and six (6) private high schools. The Youth Advisory Council
Second District would provide new opportunities for the youth of our city to be positively involved.
Some of these activities would be aimed at enhancing citizenship skills through
Roland Kelly interaction with city governmental officials and its many boards and agencies. It
Third District would also provide a vehicle to establish communication between high school
students in all of the learning centers of our community.
Karl King
Fourth District The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is proposed to have not less than nineteen (19)
members. YAC would meet on a monthly basis and work closely with college age
David Varner mentors and liaisons who represent the Mayor's Office, the Common Council, the
Fifth District South Bend Community School Corporation and each of the private high schools.
Ervin Kuspa We have had t<vo (2) preliminary meetings with Administrative representatives of
Sixth District the high schools, the Mayor's Office, and the City Clerk's Office.
