D;a- $(o <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7357-84+ <br /> TO PROVIDE A SALARY FOR A POLICE ARMORER <br /> POSITION FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR <br /> CALENDAR YEAR 1986 <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> Ordinance No. 7357-84 provided for maximum salaries and <br /> wages of appointed officers and employees of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana, for the calendar years 1985 and 1986. It is <br /> necessary to add a position to be entitled "Police Armorer" for the <br /> Police Department, and to provide a salary for that position. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SOUTH BEND COMMON <br /> COUNCIL, as follows : <br /> SECTION I. For calendar year 1986, Ordinance No. 7357-84 <br /> shall be amended to provide the following additional position for <br /> the Police Department and to provide the following maximum annual <br /> salary for that position: <br /> POSITION 1986 SALARY/WAGE <br /> Police Armorer $16,781.00 <br /> SECTION II.
