ORDINANCE NO. 160 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $120,000.00 FORM THE LOCAL <br /> ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R&S 8507, R-O-W <br /> ACQUISITION LOGAN/HICKORY, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD <br /> AND STREET FUND. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to provide <br /> for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain improvements are <br /> necessary for Logan/Hickory from the Grand Trunk Tracks to Edison within <br /> the City of South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of the R-O-W acquisition portion <br /> of this project. These funds are available from the Local Road and Street <br /> Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana. <br /> SECTION I. The following sum of money is hereby ordered set apart from <br /> the Local Road and Street Fund for the Project in the amount set forth <br /> below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
