Members of the Common Council <br /> February 13 , 1986 <br /> Page -2- <br /> The east 190 . 11 feet of the east/west street known as <br /> Hildreth Street (40-60 foot R.O.W. ) between an extension of <br /> the west lot line of Lot 115 of the Bellevue Addition and the <br /> west R.O.W. line of Greenlawn Avenue, bounded on the north by <br /> Lot 115 of the Bellevue Addition, a vacated 14-foot <br /> north/south alley and Lot 21 of Mikesell ' s Addition (all IUSB <br /> property) and on the south by Lot 116 of the Bellevue <br /> Addition (IUSB property) , a publicly dedicated 14-foot <br /> north/south alley and Lot 22 of Mikesell ' s Addition (IUSB <br /> property) . <br /> For your information, a Public Hearing concerning these proposed <br /> vacations was held on February 11 , 1986 . As required by <br /> ordinance, owners whose property abut the proposed property to be <br /> vacated were notified of the Board' s Public Hearing date. Mr. <br /> Marty Kleva, Cole Associates , Inc . , was present on behalf of the <br /> Petitioner and informed the Board of Indiana University' s <br /> proposed use for the property to be vacated. Mr. Kleva addressed <br /> concerns regarding construction of a cul-de-sac at Hildreth <br /> Street and the dedication of right-of-way for a new alley. There <br /> was no one else present wishing to speak either for or against <br /> the Petitions and no written objections were filed with the <br /> Board. A copy of the excerpts of the minutes of the Public <br /> Hearing is attached for your information. <br /> Therefore, the Board of Public Works favorably recommends <br /> vacation of the above referred to alleys and streets contingent <br /> upon the completion of public improvements and construction and <br /> dedication of right-of-way prior to the vacation taking effect <br /> and subject to any and all utility easements . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> }A,A/OLA,a_LI-A1. /// <br /> Sandra M.
