Zoning and Annexation Committee Meeting <br /> 2013 South Bend Common Council <br /> The February 18, 2013 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Dr. Fred Ferlic, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Schey, Dr. Fred Ferlic, <br /> Oliver J. Davis, Dieter, Gavin Ferlic, and Karen L. White; Pong Yin (Amy Le) Le, Muhammed <br /> Shabazz, and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Dr. Ferlic noted that the Committee Members include Council Member Henry Davis., Jr. who is <br /> the Vice-Chairperson, Oliver J. Davis, Gavin Ferlic and himself as Chairperson. A quorum was <br /> present. <br /> Dr. Ferlic stated that the purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates interested in being <br /> appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission. The two (2) persons who filed applications, <br /> Pong Yin (Amy Le) Le and Muhammed Shabazz were then called into the committee meeting and <br /> interviewed separately, with each candidate being asked a series of questions. <br /> Another Zoning and Annexation Committee meeting will be called for next Monday, February 25, <br /> 2013 for discussion; followed by a motion on an advisory recommendation from the Committee on <br /> the candidates. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Dr. Ferlic adjourned the meeting at <br /> 5:52 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Dr. Fred Ferlic, Chairperson <br /> Zoning and Annexation Committee <br /> Attachment : February 13, 2013 Notice of Committee Meeting - 1 page <br />
