CI \ HRY <br /> January 7 , 1986 <br /> TO: Members of the <br /> South Bend Common Council <br /> RE: Morris Civic Auditorium Improvements : <br /> Request for Ordinance <br /> It is requested that you consider and give favorable approval <br /> to the ordinance appropriating fifteen thousand dollars <br /> ($15, 000 . 00) from the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement <br /> Account . Seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7 ,500 . 00) <br /> will have been from a matching grant from the Broadway <br /> Theatre League, Inc . with the balance to be from the <br /> Improvement Account . <br /> These funds are to be used to clean and restore the masonry <br /> and terra cotta facade on the eastern portion of the Morris <br /> Auditorium. Not only will the facade improvements add to <br /> the attractiveness of the Morris facility, but they will <br /> assist us in keeping the facility fit for future use by the <br /> people.
