Included in this <br />change order is the addition of a concrete median to separate the bike lane from vehicular traffic <br />east of Hill St, close 3 underground vaults that were discovered during construction, modify the <br />streetlight foundations due to existing utilities, add traffic impact units to the barrier wall being <br />used for traffic control during construction for Phase 2, modifications of the storm sewer, and add <br />water service relocations. <br /> <br />The change order is for a total increase of $202,153.98 to the original contract price. The increase <br />is within the project budget and is being paid for by the River East TIF. <br /> <br />The Division of Engineering recommends the approval of Change Order #1 to the LaSalle <br />Streetscape project PN 122-013R for an increase of $202,153.98 to the original contract <br />price bringing the new contract price to $5,857,514.36. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
