u ~~ WHEREAS,. pursuant to L.C, 36-7-14.5-12(a)(5) and (4), the • Redevelopment Authority may acquire and hold real property needed or considered useful in connection with local public improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 8-22-3-10, the Airport Authority is authorized to acquire and dispose of-real property far use or in connection with ar far administrative purposes of the airport; and WHEREAS, .the Airport Authority is desirous of transferring title to the Real. Property to the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter, the "Redevelopment Authority"} sa that the same may be utilized for the construction of F. J. l~imtz Parkway,.east of Mayflower Road..; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Authority is desirous of acquiring the Real Property from the Airport Authority in order to allow for the construction of this portion of F, J. Nimtz Parkway; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 33, adopted March 8, 1991, th.e Redevelopment Authority has elected to abide by the previsions of I.C. 36-1-11-8 with regard to the transfer by ar to it of real property to or from another governmental entity; and WHEREAS, the Airport Authority has or-will adopt a resolution substantially identical to this Resolution to effectuate the transfer of the Real Estate from the Airport Authority to the Redevelopment Auth©rity. • .NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: 1.
