• BILL NO. _ ORDINANCE NO. 1 10-7 A BILL AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7667-86 FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE CALENDAR YEARS 1987, 1988 AND 1989 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT On Monday, July 28, 1986, the South Bend Common Council passed Ordinance No. 7667-86 which fixed salaries and wages for appointed officers and employees for calendar years 1987, 1988, and 1989. Amendments are necessary to increase the salary of the position of the Morris Civic Theatre Director, to modify salaries/wages in the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Bureau of Cemeteries, as well as to modify the language addressing sick leave. The following amendment carries out those objectives. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I.
