• <br /> schedule. <br /> (c) Officers and sworn members shall be entitled to receive Sixty-Two <br /> Dollars ($62.00) for the nine and one-half (9-1/2) holidays established by <br /> the Board of Public Safety; whether such holiday is worked or not. Pay for <br /> such holidays shall be received during the pay period in which the holiday <br /> occurs; however, no holiday shall be paid in advance of its occurrence. <br /> (d) Night incentive and hazard pay shall be paid at the rate of Three <br /> Hundred Dollars ($300.00) each per year. <br /> (e) Each officer and sworn member shall be entitled to the following <br /> annual allowances: <br /> 1987 1988 1989 <br /> Gun/Radio Allowance $100.00 $200.00 $200.00 <br /> SECTION IV. VACATIONS <br /> (a) Current officers and sworn officers shall be entitled to vacations <br /> pursuant to the following schedule for 1987, 1988 and 1989: <br /> 0 - 1 year of service - 1 day per month <br /> 1 - 5 years of service - 13 days annually <br /> 6 - 10 years of service - 16 days annually <br /> 11 - 15 years of service - 21 days annually <br /> 16 - 20 years of service - 23 days annually <br /> 21 years of service and over - 28 days annually <br /> (b) New sworn members hired and sworn after December 31, 1986, shall be <br /> entitled to vacations pursuant to the following schedule for 1987, 1988 and <br /> 1989: <br /> 0 - 1 year of service - 1 day per month after six (6) months <br /> 1 - 3 years of service - 8 days annually <br /> 4 - 5 years of service - 10 days annually <br /> 6 - 10 years of service - 12 days annually <br /> 11 - 15 years of service - 15 days annually <br /> 16 - 19 years of service - 18 days annually <br /> 20 years of service and over - 21 days annually <br /> (c) The above terms shall be subject to approval by the Board of Public <br /> Safety through the Board's adoption of a proper resolution. <br /> SECTION V. OTHER MONETARY FRINGE BENEFITS <br /> (a) Clothing Allowance: Officers and other sworn members shall <br /> receive an annual clothing allowance of Seven Hundred and fifty-four <br /> ($754.00) Dollars, one-half (1/2) of which shall be paid on or before June <br /> 15th one-half (1/2) of which shall be paid on or before December 15th. <br /> (b) Dependent Health Insurance: The annual contribution by the each <br /> officer and other sworn members for dependent health insurance costs related <br /> to the City of South Bend's self funded health insurance program shall <br /> remain at the 1986 level during the period covered by this Ordinance. <br /> (c) Overtime Foot Patrol: Each sworn member working under the <br /> Overtime Foot Patrol Program shall be paid at the rate of Seven Dollars and <br /> Fifty Cents ($7.50) per hour. <br />
