Exhibit A1, A2, & A6 5-8-23

4
MAJOR COMPENENTS: EVAPORATOR / H.P. RECEIVER / CONDENSER
Ammonia
1. One (1) flooded, shell and tube type evaporator with surge drum, (Delta-Tee or
approved equal)
2. Oil pot
3. Level column
4. One (1) high pressure storage receiver sized for full capacity of system plus required
safety volume.
5. One (1) Evaporative Condenser (Evapco, BAC or approved equal)

RINK PUMPS
1. Cold Floor Pumps: One primary pump for each rink and one 100% stand-by pump. VFDs on all
cold floor pumps. Control system shall include sequencing to rotate the stand-by pump into
operation designed for equal hourly operation for all pumps. (Bell & Gossett or approved
equal)
2. Warm Floor Pump: One primary pump and one 100% stand-by pump. Control system shall
include sequencing to rotate the stand-by pump into operation designed for equal hourly
operation for all pumps. (Bell & Gossett or approved equal)

WASTE HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEMS shall be designed to remove heat generated by the refrigeration
system for the purpose of providing heat to the snow melt / sub-soil loop.
1. One (1) shell and tube heat exchanger by Delta-Tee or approved equal.
2. One (1) Snow melt coil:
a. Size and design shall be specific to meet the snow melt pit configuration
b. Nominal 2.5” stainless steel pipe on 7.5” centers
c. Heat of rejection shall meet the capacity as specified in the minimum system design as
noted above.
3. Two (2) pump subfloor snowmelt system with flow directional actuators. (Bell & Gossett or
approved equal)
4. Note: The one sheet chiller will not have heat reclaim built in. Subsoil and snowmelt heat will
have to come from the existing system or from a sperate boiler not included.

CONDENSER
Ammonia
1. Evaporative Condenser type,
a. Local water sump configuration
b. Selection sized for dry operation at 25ᵒF dry bulb.
c. VFD on fan motor
d. Factory protection coating or stainless-steel sump
