The attached ordinance, incorporating these <br /> provisions, is the result of several months of discussion by the <br /> Human Resources and Economic Development Committee. <br /> The ordinance establishes the criteria for granting three, six <br /> or ten year real property tax abatement. The ordinance is based on <br /> two major premises. First, that the City should not grant abatement <br /> for a longer period than is necessary.
