MM Vance LLC presently has a <br /> Manufacturing facility, known as Phoenix Engineering on their portion of the petition site that has been in <br /> operation for several years. They would like to expand the size of their existing building by adding on to <br /> the North and West of the building. They have been working with the City of South Bend on their <br /> expansion plans. The City owns the adjacent properties to the North, South and West of MM Vance LLC's <br /> property. The two parties have come to an agreement for the purchase of the City properties. The <br /> Petitioners representative met with the Area Plan Commission and Building Department staff's to discuss <br />
