Turn west and follow the north edge of Bronson Street, <br />crossing Carroll Street, to the east edge of St. Joseph Street. Turn north and follow the east <br />edge of the street to a line extended east from the south property lines of 116 and 128 East <br />South Street. Turn west and follow the south property lines to the east edge of the alley <br />between St. Joseph and Michigan Streets, then turn north and follow the east edge of the <br />alley, crossing South Street, to the south edge of East Monroe Street, or the place of <br />beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />Boundary Justification (Explain why the boundaries were selected.) <br /> <br />The boundaries described above include a portion of a small plat from 1854 near the middle <br />of the district and 1893 Taylor’s Field plat that combine to form the local historic district <br />known as Taylor’s Field. The boundaries extend east along the South Street corridor from the <br />local historic district boundaries to include homes that generally are of comparable scale and <br />refinements to those in Taylor’s Field, having been influenced by its development in the late <br />1890s and early 1900s. <br /> <br />_____________________________________________________________________________ <br />11.
