• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. -1 (0,1k-s <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL <br /> $5,500.00 FROM THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br /> IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR CLEANING AND TUCK- <br /> POINTING OF MASONRY AND TERRA-COTTA OF THE <br /> FACADE AND FOR PAINTING AND REGLAZING OF <br /> WINDOWS AND DOORS AT MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of <br /> Managers . <br /> The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that <br /> it would be expedient and in the public interest to undertake <br /> cleaning and tuck-pointing of masonry and terra-cotta of the facade <br /> and for painting and reglazing of windows and doors at Morris Civic <br /> Auditorium. Additional money is available for this purpose in the <br /> Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund, because of a contribution <br /> from the South Bend Symphony. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows : <br /> SECTION I. The amount of $5,500.00 is hereby <br /> appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Morris Civic <br /> Auditorium Improvement Fund for a contract for cleaning and tuck- <br /> pointing of masonry and terra-cotta of the facade and for painting <br /> and reglazing of windows and doors at Morris Civic Auditorium. <br /> SECTION II.
